Types of Security Market 

1. Primary market: IPO (Company to investors).

•Primary market also known as new issue market. A company comes up with an IPO ( initial public offer) through the primary market.

• In IPO transaction is directly between issuer company and investors.

2. Secondary market: shares trading ( investors to investors )

• Secondary Market is also known as the stock exchange. Two famous stock exchanges are B.S.E and N.S.E.

•In this market transactions occur between the investor and another investor.
